About our Founder
Brad Bender brings more than 25 years of global product and business leadership to A–Z Consulting. As a Vice President of Product Management at Google and DoubleClick, he worked across the full product life cycle: developing new ideas, finding product-market fit, scaling businesses, revitalizing established products, and deciding when it was time to retire them.
At Google, Brad founded the Google Display Network and built it into a multibillion-dollar business. He later led News and Search Ecosystems, working on products that serve billions of people worldwide. His work has been covered by The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications. In 2012, Crain’s New York Business named him to its “40 Under 40” list.
Today, Brad advises and invests in companies across technology, media, entertainment, and services. He serves as an Independent Director of Entravision (NYSE: EVC) and a Non-Executive Director of AI-Media (ASX: AIM), where he co-chairs the Product and Technology Committee. He has also served as a Trustee of the Classical Theatre of Harlem for more than a decade and is its Treasurer. As an angel investor, he is particularly drawn to companies using technology to create meaningful social impact.
Brad is also an avid skier and lifelong traveler, having lived on three continents and visited all seven.
